Getting there & around
Verified facts
The cable ride takes about five minutes to the 1,067 m summit station. Wind and cloud can halt service even when the city is otherwise clear.
The cableway's live July 2026 notice lists annual maintenance from 27 July through 9 August 2026. No cable-car journey should be planned during that closure unless the operator posts a change.
The Lower Station, cable cars and paved summit routes are wheelchair accessible; a summit mobility scooter is advertised, and a physically impaired visitor plus helper can receive the published half-price arrangement.
